Just wanted to wish all of you happy holidays & a healthy new year!. Lets face it without our health we have nothing. The picture below was from Times Square a few nights ago- glad i bought the wide angle lens!!

Now I need to think of a new years resolution!

We are getting so busy with events/Bar/Bat Mitzvahs that we took on two more lead photographers besides me! Paul & Todd. Both members PPA & WPPI and both have won numerous awards in event & portrait print competitions. I looked long and hard to find 2 unique people whos style matched mine and the search has ended I found them-

At this point we now have the ability to book 2 events per day as we never book more than that in case of an emergency we have a lead photographer to cover.

The great news is that even in this horrible economy our business is growing tremendously! I guess people know a good thing when they see it! Happy Holidays from everyone at Peanut Portraits!

I just got back from the PMA show at the Javits center it was awesome- many new ideas and new products. Technology is changing so rapidly in the Digital SLR world its tough to keep up- but dont worry I'm on it!

I have a new background set for my studio on order which is totally cool! A company called Back To Back Designs manufactures it -1 month until it arrives-

OK OK I know I never got a chance to post any beach photoshoots- Ill make it it up to you!. I have been extremelly busy with the set up of my new Katonah Studio. Its outrageous! You will be able to view your photos on a 65" lcd screen at the sales appointments!!

At any rate Fall is here and I am busier than I have ever been- my weekends are booked until December 20th! So if you want to schedule a family shoot its a weekeday only at this point-

Its Labor Day 2008- and I just woke up its 11:08!! I did back to back Mitzvahs yesterday starting at 9am and ending at 1am- Congratulations to Adam Rosenstein & Rachel Sweig!!!! The parties were awesome!!!! I will post a few of the Hamptons sessions I did in a few days. For now I'm trying to convince my wife to let me get a 65" LCD TV- wish me luck!!!

Just got back from LBI- did 4 family beach sessions- turned out great- while I was there I did some shooting on my own- before you get to the island there is a little shack on the right over the causeway- I carried my daughter through the marsh 50 yards to get this shot- One of my all time favorites- Next stop the Hamptons!!
